1BELLEEK: 1st Period. Earthenware Teapot stand. Transfer print of factory circa 1865 in usual colouring. A few firing cracks. This was amongst the earliest production at Belleek to advertise their production.

36BELLEEK: 1970s. Collectors’ Society plaque 1st edition green stamp. This shows the symbols of the Tower, Wolfhound and Harp in the Belleek logo.
37BELLEEK: 1st Period. Transfer printed earthenware mug depicting sportsman with gundogs and unusually having the farmer with hayfork tradition.
38BELLEEK: 1st Period. Transfer decorated earthenware fieldworker's mug depicting the ‘Stag Hunt’ transfer which was an inspiration from Glenveigh.
39BUNDORAN CHINA: Puppy ornaments made in the style of the contemporary taste. Designed and made by the late Cyril Arnold.

59BELLEEK: 1st Period. Early bowl. Decorated rim (entwined shamrock) and having a large Belleek stamp in central position. Restored. These bowls were among the earliest items made by Belleek to advertise their establishment.

149BELLEEK: 2nd Period. Cauldron Shamrock decoration and inscribed "Lough Derg". Lough Derg has long been a place of Pilgrimage and the pottery responded to the demand for souvenirs like this from about 1870, when institutional wares were initially supplied.
150COALISLAND: Very rare porcelain tree stump vase. 6" high. This piece shows the close connection there was to Belleek production and the tree shape may even have predated the Ivy Trunk Stump vase of Belleek.

Hand marked in purple: Herbert Cooper, Queen's Institute, Dublin with Shamrock in purple. Four plates not marked. Some illustrated in Belleek in Context. The Queen’s Institute School of Porcelain Painting was set up by W.H. Kerr and Cooper in the late 1860s and were commissioned by Belleek to design the Institute Pattern teaware.

259BELLEEK: 1st Period. The Swann painted cabaret set. This shows birds in their natural habitat and has been described by M.A. Jenks as equal in quality to any Meissen, Sevres, or Chelsea sets. Tray, teapot, cream, sugar, 2 cups and saucers. The tray signed by E.W. Swann in painting. Marked with Black 1st stamp. Circa 1863-1865. Illustrated and discussed in "Belleek in Context." The most important cabaret set made in bone china commissioned by Armstrong in the very early years. The tray has a firing fault.

This transfer and colour was used in the early years of production as can be seen from the well defined 1st Period Belleek marks. Special commission for Armstrong or Exhibition. 39 pieces. 12 dinner plates, tureen, 2 vegetable dishes, side plate, 7 tea plates, small tureen ladle, 7 side plates, 2 small serving etc.
