1BELLEEK: 1st Period. Earthenware Teapot stand. Transfer print of factory circa 1865 in usual colouring. A few firing cracks. This was amongst the earliest production at Belleek to advertise their production.

34COALISLAND: Porcelain basket in the form of an ammonite with pink "coral" handle. A rare piece showing what Coalisland was capable of producing and why Belleek felt such a threat from them.
35BELLEEK: 1st Period. Ammonite jug with "coral stem" handle. The Coalisland item preceding drew from this design 5" high.
36BELLEEK: 1970s. Collectors’ Society plaque 1st edition green stamp. This shows the symbols of the Tower, Wolfhound and Harp in the Belleek logo.
37BELLEEK: 1st Period. Transfer printed earthenware mug depicting sportsman with gundogs and unusually having the farmer with hayfork tradition.
38BELLEEK: 1st Period. Transfer decorated earthenware fieldworker's mug depicting the ‘Stag Hunt’ transfer which was an inspiration from Glenveigh.
39BUNDORAN CHINA: Puppy ornaments made in the style of the contemporary taste. Designed and made by the late Cyril Arnold.
40COMPOSITE LOT. Spongeware mug, porcelain pig and teddy.
41BELLEEK: 1st Period. Earthenware Ladle "Ulster pattern" with unusual Belleek Ulster stamp (8" repaired). It is rare to get ladles this size still existing these days.
42BELLEEK: 1st Period. Very rare earthenware ladle with moth pattern which is unrecorded. As with previous lot it is rare to get ladles still existing these days.
43BELLEEK: 2nd PERIOD. Tulip Vase decorated in pastel pink and green. 9.5" high.
44BELLEEK: 7th Period. Gold mark. "Belgian hawker" (female) 7"high.
45BELLEEK: 2nd Period. "Harp Handle" Jug with entwined shamrock base. The Harp handle jug is an emblem of Belleek.
46BELLEEK: 1st Period. Earthenware Ladle with Gilt decoration. 7". This is an unusual gilded decoration.

49BELLEEK: 2nd Period. Two lustre Celtic hand painted earthenware bowls. These were a response to the interest in Celtic art at the time. The design were transferred on and then painted to look as if done free-hand. Illustrated in Belleek in Context.
50BELLEEK: 1st Period and Royal Worcester. Two ring handle cups and saucers. The Belleek in a Convolvulus Limoges pattern and the Worcester with a more contemporary design. Illustrated in Belleek in Context. The Belleek cup with restoration.

53BELLEEK: 2nd Period. Neptune pin tray for a dressing set. This is a very rare miniature of the full cabaret tray.

58WILLETS (AMERICAN BELLEEK): stylish, hand painted cylinder vase with very period style decoration. Height 8", diameter 2". Signed N.E. Torney.
59BELLEEK: 1st Period. Early bowl. Decorated rim (entwined shamrock) and having a large Belleek stamp in central position. Restored. These bowls were among the earliest items made by Belleek to advertise their establishment.
60Petit dejeune set bearing an unusual harp and crown mark. Shamrock on basket weave in the Belleek manner. Modern Chinese reproduction
61BELLEEK: 3rd Period. Sycamore dish commemorating the Silver Jubilee of George V. and Queen Mary in 1935. Mounted and framed. This is one of only a few royal commemoratives that Belleek made.

63BELLEEK: MELVINWARE. Earthenware Bedpan produced during period when production shifted from Belleek pottery to shores of Lough Melvin during kiln reconstruction (circa 1926).

68BELLEEK: 3rd Period. An unmarked Shamrock platter in Parian. This came from the Cyril Arnold collection. 21inches wide by 16 inches. An unusually large size with a wonderful glaze.

70BELLEEK: 3rd Period. Pair of unique candlesticks with gilt banding and shamrocks. Made and signed by Cyril Arnold and from his collection. 4" high. These show Arnold’s desire to create more decorative Belleek.

This is in fact an early second mark for small pieces that was then also used later for any small pieces.

99Belleek: 1997. Limited edition Richard Degenhardt basket. Number 111. These were especially made and their design reflects this.
100COALISLAND: scarce porcelain bread plate in the ‘Tridacna’ pattern measuring 11"x9.5" with pink tinged rim. Red stamp.
101Belleek: 7th Period. 1980s with gold stamp. Greyhound, 7" high. The slender figure is especially suited to production in Parian.
102BELLEEK: 1st Period. Triple Hippiritus centrepiece 11" tall on marine base. Mrs. Armstrong’s passion for marine life.
103BELLEEK: 3rd Period. Table Centrepiece in fluted trumpet form on encrusted floral base. 13" high. 6.5" diameter.
104BELLEEK 2nd Period. Jardinière applied with rose, daisy, coronation and shamrocks.
105BELLEEK: Modern. "Santa" cookie jar.
106BELLEEK: 1ST Period."Dragon" teapot stand This is a very scarce piece with very intricate modelling of a dragon.
107BELLEEK. Entwined Fish vase 16" high. The fish entwined around a central vase modelled with rushes and butterfly.
108BELLEEK. 2 Cherub based candlesticks. One 6th period the other more recent.
109BELLEEK: 1st Period. Warming dish. This was used to keep food warm on a plate on top. Decorated with a blue rim. This is a scarce item.
110BELLEEK 2nd Period. Two Shamrock cauldrons. 5 inches and 3.25 inches high. Some Cob lustre showing inside the larger caldron.

112BELLEEK. 6 Earthenware spongeware bowls. Unmarked but known to be Belleek. Rare to get 6 matching items of this nature.

114BELLEEK: 2nd Period. Two Shamrock mugs for exhibitions. One with ‘From Cork’ and another for ‘Ballymaclinton’. Ballymaclinton was a fictional village at the London exhibitions as sponsored by Colleen Soap, made by McClintons of Donaghmore, near Coalisland
115COALISLAND: Three pieces comprising of a Tridacna plate, a Tridacna creamer and an Apple Blossom sugar bowl. Creamer with small chips and sugar with small piece missing on rim.
116BELLEEK: 1ST Period. Rare Asparagus Vase. This vase has a similar top to the feather vase but rests on three sticks of Asparagus. This is the only known example.
117BELLEEK: 1ST Period. Hand painted bone china part dessert set. Comprising two low comports and seven plates with painted flowers and a green surround. These were only produced in the very early years of production.
118BELLEEK: 1ST Period impressed. Nautilus Shell on Coral.
119BELLEEK: 3rd Period. Celtic coffee cup and saucer and Ivy cup. Both with strong cob lustre inside.

127BELLEEK: 1st Period. Institute steak dish with hot water reservoir and with pink coral handle to lid. This was designed by the Queen’s Institute in Dublin. See other lots for some of their own produced work. Black stamp and registration diamond.
128BELLEEK: 1st Period. Cactus Spill with faint traces of lustre. This is a relatively early and rare piece. Slight firing fault between leaf and stem. Illustrated in Belleek in Context.

145BELLEEK: 1st Period. Earthenware Oval platter with gravy channel. Unusually large size for large roast dishes. 21.5" x 17.5"

147BELLEEK: 1st Period. `Gladstone` stoneware chamber pot with registry of design stamp. 4" high, 5" diameter. An unusual political piece from Belleek. This was a demonstration of how Gladstone was viewed by some people in Ireland at the time.
148BELLEEK: 2nd Period. Rathmore biscuit barrel. Very large piece at 6" high.
149BELLEEK: 2nd Period. Cauldron Shamrock decoration and inscribed "Lough Derg". Lough Derg has long been a place of Pilgrimage and the pottery responded to the demand for souvenirs like this from about 1870, when institutional wares were initially supplied.
150COALISLAND: Very rare porcelain tree stump vase. 6" high. This piece shows the close connection there was to Belleek production and the tree shape may even have predated the Ivy Trunk Stump vase of Belleek.
